Finding the best grip to pull small copper can be challenging. Copper stretches over time becoming too thin for some grips which may cause slippage. Some smaller grips are harder to manipulate when wearing rubber gloves and are not hot latch compatible. Using a grip that's too big, too strong or too aggressive could damage the cable. Klein Tools' 1613 Series Bare Wire Chicago Grip is big enough to work with gloves but small enough to pull #6 and #8 copper without damaging it. It's just right for the job.

  • Lightweight, cost-effective grip pulls #8 to #6 AWG bare copper wire
  • Single V groove jaw
  • Max Safe Load of 4500-Pound (2100 kg)
  • Locking loop handles allow the jaws to be held in an open position for easy placement on wire or cable
  • Made in USA

Warnings:Before each use, clean jaw area and inspect grip for proper operation to avoid slippage; When used on/near energized lines, ground, insulate, or isolate grip before pulling; Do not exceed rated capacity.
